Jubilee and Atonement

2047 - 2048

Jubilee provides a picture of atonement in that, with it comes freedom, restoration, and return: "Each of you shall return to his own property and each of you shall return to his family"  (Lev 25:10.  the word, Jubilee, comes from yabal, meaning to flow (like a stream of water), to bring, carry, conduct, bear along.  We who understand the Father's plan for His coming, Jubilee need to help carry it forth.  To do so, we flow in streams of living water.  Yeshua said, "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said,

"From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water" (John 7:38).

Most people believe Yeshua's return to earth will begin a "Jubilee year," and Jubilee always begins on Yom Kippur.  Thus many anticipate that He will return to earth at that time.

Whatever time of His return, it surely cannot be far from us.

If so, the idea that we might be part of the "Jubilee Generation," meaning those destined to see and help usher in His return, should inspire us to new heights in our faith.
