JUBILEE YEAR

2047 -2048

And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth [day] of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout [all] the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family (mishpachah ; a kind or species, associated together ; a Tribe; a subdivision of a Tribe, a family, among the Israelites).

Leviticus 25: 8 -10

                                                                    ENTERING INTO JUBILEE

The Jubilee year begins on Yom Kippur and the sound of the shofar heralds its beginning.  The shofar represented the presence of the almighty in the past, and its sound will most likely be used to  announce the returning presence of His Son, Yeshua.

We also see this confirmed in that Yeshua spoke of a Jubilee when He read from the scroll of Isaiah.  He stood up to read in the Nazareth synagogue, and He announced that He was the Anointed one (Messiah) foretold by Isaiah.  Yeshus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to teach good news to the poor.  He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor..." (Luke 4: 16-21).

However, Yeshua stopped reading before He reached the end of Isaiah's Messianic declaration.  He did this because He knew He would one day return to fulfil the remainder of the prophecy Isaiah said a day would come when the Messiah would, "Comfort all who mourn...giving them.... the oil of gladness.... the mantle of praise.... so they will be called....the priests of the Lord.... Instead of shame they will have a double portion... they will possess a double portion in their land, everlasting joy will be theirs" (Isa 61: 2-7).

In the coming eternal Jubilee we will return to our promised land.  At that time we will know freedom and restoration in its fullness.  We will know total release, everlasting gladness and joy!  But until that time, we need to sound our trumpet voices and declare Hid eternal truths to whosoever has ears to hear.  We must work, and not seek to escape.  We must be dedicated to his purposes, even unto the very end (Isa. 51:11; Mat 24:13;  John 9:4).  in conclusion, whenever our Messiah returns - whether it happens on Yom Kippur or on any other day - the most important point for each of us must be that He finds us worthy to enter into His Eternal Jubilee.

Even so, come quickly, Lord Yeshua!
